Please review our frequently asked questions (below) to see if your query
can be answered here. If not then please contact
Paula who will be more than happy to answer any further queries you
may have.
What kind of photos do you need?
A.
Please send me the best photos that you have of your
pet. The quality of the portrait and its likeness to the subject will
depend entirely on how good the photos are. Please look at
Taking
Photos for helpful hints. Please also ensure that any photos are free
from copyright restrictions.

How many photos do you need?
A.
I can work from a single, clear photo if that is all
you have. I like to work from one main photo and use others for reference
(for coat colour or eye colour for example), so the more you are able
to send, the better.

How do I get my photos to you?
A.
Photos can either be sent in the post, or
emailed (as
a digital photo or scanned in from a printed photo).
If you are sending digital photos, please take them on the highest resolution
possible and crop to head and shoulders before you send them. All posted
photos will be safely returned with the completed portrait. Please don’t
hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about selecting or sending
your photographs.

How do I order a portrait?
A.
Please use the online order form and either email it
or print it out and pop it in the post with your photos. Receiving your
photos will confirm the order.

How long will my portrait take?
A.
Once an order has been confirmed I will be able to
tell you when the portrait will be ready. Generally, portraits take between
6 and 8 weeks to complete, but if it is required for a special occasion
please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you.

When do I pay?
A.
Your complete satisfaction is very important to me.
You don’t pay for the portrait until you have previewed it on the
website and approved it. Payment is presently made by cheque. We will
be introducting an online payment option by credit/debit card through
a secure server soon.

How will the portrait reach me?
A.
For UK deliveries, portraits are flat packed with instructions
to handle with care. They are sent by Post Office Special Delivery ‘next
day’ service at a cost of £10 including insurance.
